Simax borosilicate glass meets the highest standards for food safety and product excellence. Manufactured in Europe at a glassworks operating since 1837, the collection includes a complete assortment of kitchen essentials, with sleek, functional design. Whether blown or pressed, the glass is extremely durable, heat resistant and recyclable.
Manufactured of borosilicate glass, and designed to absorb thermal expansion of temperatures from –40 °C to +300 °C. The non-porous glass surface is easy to clean, and also prevents the transfer of flavours or odours while cooking.
Simax pressed products are also hardened through a controlled process during which pressure stress is created on the surface, protecting the product from mechanical and thermal shock, and increasing resistance to breaking or cracking.
Oven, freezer and dishwasher safe. As a precaution, avoid placing pieces straight from the oven onto a cold or wet surface.
